agreement with Yemen passed its final hurdle yesterday with Shura Council members giving it the go-ahead.
The deal, already approved by parliament, will lead to exchanges in expertise and intelligence in all policing and security fields, notably terrorism and drugs trafficking.
It would also involve Bahraini policemen conducting training and education programmes in Yemen and vice versa.
Both countries will also have access to police information, publications and research.
The agreement will be now ratified by His Majesty King Hamad.
