THIS letter is for the Indian couple who were shopping at Carrefour on October 31 at midnight.
Just after paying at the counter, we walked out and this couple were standing near us.
We were both in queue to punch in our respective lucky numbers (which is part of a promotion that Carrefour is running).
Our trolleys were right next to each other. My 10-year old son was carrying the Carrefour bag with two mobile phones inside and accidentally put them into the couple's trolley.
This is something we realised only when we began loading our stuff into the car.
One was a Nokia 5220 (Black and red in colour), another was a Samsung 6270 (flip-top and red in colour). These were both bought as gifts for my nephews visiting us on holiday.
We are very sad that we lost both phones right after paying for them. My son is distraught as he feels responsible for the whole thing.
I'm sure the couple must have realised this only when they reached home.
If the couple reads this letter, please do call me on 39833163 or 39629060.
I would be very pleased to learn that honesty and goodness still exist in today's world.
